The Anthurium, much like the Philodendron, is a big family of plants and just like all big families, there's one star that shines the brightest.

  • Water when the top half of the soil is dry. Make sure you to give it water until it flows through the drainage hole at the bottom of the pot and discard any water that has accumulated in decorative pot or saucer.
  • The Anthurium loves bright indirect light. Beware of direct sun; it may burn the leaves. However, don't be afraid of light, the more it receives, the more the plant blooms.
  • Once a month during spring and summer with liquid fertilizer!
  • Every 2-3 years
  • Remove dying flowers as soon as you notice them, this helps your amigo focus its energy on new growth.
  • During winter, let your amigo rest, low light, water and temperature will help this plant product more flowers later in the year.
