About Monstera Siltepecana

Origin

Native to the warm, humid tropical rainforests of Southern Mexico and Central America (Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras), where it grows as a climbing epiphyte along tree trunks.

Watering

Water when the top 50% of the soil has dried out. This silver amigo prefers consistent moisture—never let it sit in soggy, waterlogged soil to prevent root rot, but avoid letting the pot dry out completely to prevent crispy leaf edges!

Light and Placement
