Origin

A modern horticultural hybrid derived from tropical South American Philodendron species (primarily related to Philodendron erubescens), selected specifically for its compact, self-heading habit and fiery foliage that emerges bright red before maturing to deep orange and glossy green.

Watering

Water thoroughly once top 50% to 75% of the potting mix has completely dried out. Always allow excess water to drain away completely through the bottom drainage holes—roots hate sitting in soggy saucers!

Light and Placement
