You may live in the dark, we cannot pretend, but that doesn’t mean Lil Nas should. In fact, Lil Nas is quite particular about all aspects of his care. He needs bright but indirect light and likes warm, humid areas and moist (but not wet, but not dry!) soil. Please wait for the top two inches of his soil to dry between waterings and don’t worry about the dancing. That’s part of the package. If you can't keep the humidity levels high enough, be sure to spray his leaves whenever you're not busy scrolling through your insta feed or doing other important work. How to care for Lil Nas

Bright, indirect light

Loves medium to bright, indirect light to keep those deep black hues rich and velvety. Keep it safe from direct afternoon sun, which can easily scorch its soft, micro-textured leaves.

Requires frequent watering

Allow the top 30–40% of the soil mix to dry out before watering again. This jewel Alocasia holds moisture in its thick leaves and prefers staying slightly on the drier side—never let it sit in soggy soil to avoid root rot!
