Brody is a sweet, sentimental romantic who wears his heart right on his sleeve—or rather, all over his vines! Trading standard flat foliage for a magnificent, tangled waterfall of perfect, miniature green hearts, he brings a soft and cozy energy to any room. Unlike his variegated cousins who love flashy pinks and creams, Brody sticks to a classic, timeless wardrobe of rich, deep forest-green leaves that feel thick and slightly succulent to the touch. Rumour has it that he writes secret love letters to the other plants at night, and if you leave his long, delicate purple vines to trail undisturbed, he might just grow a tiny, lantern-shaped purple flower to show his affection. Brody is a wonderfully independent, low-maintenance roommate who stores plenty of water right inside his heart-shaped leaves and underground tubers, meaning he completely despises soggy soil and prefers to dry out entirely between drinks. Give him a cozy, elevated spot on a shelf in bright, indirect sunlight, and he will happily pour his heart out for you.

How to care for Brody

The String of Hearts (known to some as the Ceropegia Woodii) is a lovely trailing plant easily recognisable with its heart shaped leaves. Caring for Juliet is fairly simple, she needs watering once every 7-10 days but don’t allow her to sit in water as she’ll get root rot (and heartbreak). Juliet enjoys a little bit of sunshine, so having her close to a window would be great...and helps her look for the love of her life.
