Yara is the ultimate cozy creature of the plant world, showing off a batch of soft, furry brown rhizomes that creep over the edge of her pot like actual bunny paws. Hailing from the humid tropical forests of Fiji, this Davallia pairs her fuzzy "feet" with a lush canopy of feathery, bright-green fronds. Greenhouse lore says Yara loves a good prank, often creeping her fuzzy paws over neighboring pots at night to tickle the succulents into thinking a tiny forest animal moved in. She’s much sturdier than other picky ferns: give Yara bright, indirect light, keep her fuzzy feet misted or her soil evenly moist, and she’ll bring a whimsical, woodland charm straight to your shelf.
