Mood Moss (Dicranum)

Dicranum, commonly known as Mood Moss, is a soft, cushiony moss prized for its rich forest-green texture and natural woodland appearance. Its dense mounding growth creates a calming, velvety look that makes it perfect for terrariums, moss bowls, vivariums, and nature-inspired décor. Unlike traditional houseplants, Mood Moss has no true roots and absorbs moisture directly through its surface, giving it a uniquely prehistoric charm.
Place it in bright indirect to low light, avoiding direct sun which can quickly dry out and fade the moss. Keep the moss consistently damp by misting regularly or maintaining lightly moist conditions without allowing it to become waterlogged. It thrives in cooler to moderate temperatures between 10–24°C and appreciates higher humidity for its freshest appearance. With gentle moisture and soft lighting, Mood Moss brings a peaceful, miniature forest atmosphere to any indoor space. This package contains 6" by 6" of moss (15cm by 15cm).
