Cosette's survival guide
Cosette grows naturally in nutrient poor soil, so no need to feed her. If she gets hungry, she’ll catch something herself (hopefully a mosquito or the spider that’s been side eyeing you.) Water her regularly and prune away dead leaves. Don’t turn your back on her for too long. If you hear a noise that sounds suspiciously like a bored house plant clawing her way out of a tight pot—run. We’ll meet you at the rendezvous point beneath the old oak tree with your new passport. Whatever you do, don’t look back. It’s too late now

What makes Cosette so special
Cosette is a carnivorous, perennial plant who enjoys sunlight and very moist soil. Her goblet-like figure and appealing colours help her attract and trap her prey. She likes youth, vivacity, and—most importantly—gullibility. Good looking, stupid insects are her bread and butter. Cosette lures them in with her charms, makes them feel safe, and kills them with a cocktail of poisonous chemicals. Some say that Cosette was in love once, but that he spurned her for another. Some believe she was born without a conscience. All we know is that other house plants seem boring by comparison.
**Please note that individual pitchers can perish as a result of temporary lack of moisture, but Cosette will be able to recover and grow new ones!**
