The Hoya Carnosa Krinkle 8 is a bit of an oddball among the Hoyas. Its oddly crinkled leaves gives it the appearance of being a cross between a Hoya Carnosa and a Hoya Crinkle Curl or Hindu Rope. The unique look is definitely part of the appeal but just wait until you see it bloom! It might take you a while but it is worth the wait. Keep your Hoya Krinkle 8 in a bright spot away from direct sunlight and water only when the top 2 inches of soil have dried out. Hoya's are a type of succulent and will have some leftover water stored in those fleshy leaves which means they need less water.

How to care for Earl

Bright, indirect light

Hoyas thrive in bright, indirect sunlight. Place near windows for optimal growth, avoiding direct sun to prevent leaf burn.

Very little water

Allow at least the top half of soil to dry between waterings to prevent root rot. Water sparingly, especially in winter, as Hoyas are sensitive to overwatering. Hoyas prefer higher humidity levels.
