Myrtus communis is a fragrant Mediterranean evergreen traditionally grown outdoors, but this elegant specimen has been carefully trained into a sculptural indoor topiary. Its dense, glossy foliage and naturally compact growth make it a timeless accent for bright interiors and sunrooms. Place it in bright direct light whenever possible, ideally near a sunny south or west-facing window. Water when the top 2–3 inches of soil feel dry, allowing excess moisture to drain fully to prevent root rot. This plant prefers warm temperatures between 18–27°C and appreciates moderate humidity with good airflow. Feed monthly during spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertilizer to encourage lush, healthy growth. With regular pruning and plenty of sunlight, this refined topiary will maintain its crisp shape and aromatic foliage year-round.
